The person holding this position will work with all other Board of Director members to maintain up-to-date information and data on the Chapter website, prepare and publish all meeting and event notices, educational activities and opportunities, as well as organize and distribute Chapter election information. Develop and oversee an annual strategic plan to promote and elevate the visibility of the Chapter and its activities to the membership, prospects, and others across the organization’s coverage area. Additionally, s/he will support a clean and timely turnover of Chapter records to their successor. |

This person holding this position will be responsible for promoting the Chapter, bringing in guests and converting them into members by helping them feel welcome, developing and distributing information needed to join or to increase member participation in the Chapter. Strategize with leadership about ways of overcoming membership challenges. Work with PMI® and Chapter website host to maintain up-to-date contact lists and reconciled membership records. S/he will also conduct an annual needs assessment and support a clean and timely turnover of Chapter records to their successor. |

The person holding this position will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing an annual Chapter program whose component parts are approved by the Board of Directors and which meets the educational needs and expressed desires of the individual members. S/he will assure that the membership has access to a broad variety of PMI® approved standards and guidelines and supports the Chapter’s educational mission for the advancement and growth of member’s careers. The person in this position will be responsible for planning and contracting the services required to accomplish the activities and working with other Board of Directors to accomplish the successful marketing, event management, and compiling and reporting of the necessary follow-up data. S/he will also conduct an annual needs assessment and support a clean and timely turnover of Chapter records to their successor. |

The person holding this position will be responsible for all Chapter moneys, receipt of all dues and guest payments, and payment of all Chapters bills, and prompt deposit of all funds received. Additionally, s/he will develop an annual operating budget for approval by the Chapter’s Board of Directors, prepare monthly and annual financial reports on the activities and financial status of the Chapter, and manage all financial arrangements for meetings, events, and other activities as well as tracking registrations, fees, and contracted payments. S/he will also provide all records and financial reporting to PMI, Indiana State, and Federal Taxes in a timely manner. S/he will support a clean and timely turnover of Chapter financial records to their successor. |

Mentor in Mentorship Program |
Each person acting as a Mentor in the PMI-SWIC Mentorship Program will play fill out and submit a mentor application with the intent to play a unique role in the career growth of their assigned Mentee. S/he will provide insights and advice from the view-point of an experienced, objective outsider with substantial experience as a project manager. S/he will support, challenge, and inspire their assigned Mentee by providing “real world” experience and his/her historical perspective of the PMI® examination process as well as advice on skills and processes that will improve the Mentee’s job success. S/he will, over the year of the Mentorship, be committed to building a trusting, reciprocal relationship with the Mentee, as stated in the Mentor Handbook. |

Speaker at a Chapter Meeting |
Anyone wanting to be a speaker at a Chapter Meeting will fill out and submit an application to the VP Programs at least 60-days in advance of a meeting date. The application form is found here. |
Presentation should be on a subject of business use or career importance to the Chapter membership and one that can be identified as the PMI® education subject |
