Understanding Others to Improve Communication (Overview of DISC)
When we understand our own communication style, we can see more clearly how we might be coming across to others. As we learn more about our style and the styles of others, it helps us be less judgmental --- less likely to measure someone else’s responses by the way we would respond. And we’re less likely to take people’s behavior personally and thus are more able to respond thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively.

We are excited to announce that the first 50 registrants for the April 27th Chapter meeting will also get the opportunity to take the Wiley DiSC assessment at no cost!  This will be an opportunity for you to learn your communication style, and apply the information that is presented in the meeting!  Registrants will be supplied with information on how to complete the assessment upon registration.
