PMI SWIC members and their spouses/partners/guests are cordially invited to the seventh of a series of monthly chapter meetings on Tuesday November 19th at 6 pm at Rolling Hills Country Club (Card Room) in Newburgh IN. This will be a networking event, plus a speaker and topic of interest to all: "Financial Planning: What 50 Years as a Profession can Teach Other Management Fields".
The speaker will be Jay Jacobs CFP, currently a partner with Compass Financial Group in Evansville, personally overseeing $115 million in assets for 200+ clients. Whether you ever thought of your career as the planning phase for Project Retirement or not, you should, because Project Retirement is coming, or has come, to all of us, like it or not. Like PMI, financial planning has been around for 50 years and, like the PM profession, is always changing.
The Chapter will provide hors d’oevres, and a no-host cash bar will be available. Come and meet your fellow project managers and learn new things about our profession and its practitioners. This event is free of charge but registration for PMISWIC members and guests is required.
