5 - Congratulations to Ten New PMPs!

Hearty congratulations to ten PMISWIC members achieving the PMP Credential in 2021, a great way to productively use those lockdown hours!  We now have 75 members with PMPs of a total membership of 100.  Well done to those obtaining this certification:

  • Sara Schotter in March
  • Gregory Barna in May
  • Dana Bates, Vikas Maurya and Jennifer Moore in June
  • Timothy Aldrich (PMISWIC Board Member), Juston Franklin and Priyansh Dogra in July
  • Arthur Adye in August
  • Kristal Srinivasen in October.

In addition ot 75 PMPs we have one Risk Management Professional in the Chapter:  Cara Sweeney received her PMI-RMP in July.  Congratulations Cara!

Now is the time to start working on those PDUs for recertification!  Not only do you learn stuff that will enhance your career, you can also help others in their careers.  The PMI Talent Triangle comprises Technical, Leadership and Strategic/Business Management skills, all essential for your continuing success.

If you have colleagues in the IT world who recognize the value of a PMP, now is the time to encourage them to consider this credential!  Starting January 2021 the PMP exam is based on both Predictive (traditional) and Agile project management knowledge areas, making it much more pertinent to IT projects.
